FEAR
So many pets experience stress during their visits to a veterinary clinic. This causes pet owners to feel less comfortable taking their pets in for important preventive visits, and it also causes problems in diagnostics. You see, when a pet experiences stress, hormones are released that changes a dog or cat's body temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure. This makes it difficult to discern between a stress response or a legitimate health condition.
We believe, passionately, in caring for your pet the best way we know how. That is why we are proud to be a Fear Free certified practice, one of very few in the region. To earn this certification, we have undergone training and testing in handling techniques that reduce stress, and have meticulously designed your pet's experience to limit any stressors. It means healthier and happier pets. Because you and your companion deserve that.
